Kimberly and Angel are officially tying the knot in February at The Citadel's St. Alban's Chapel and they will be having their reception at Magnolia Plantation. So naturally, we thought it was fitting to do their engagement portraits at Magnolia Plantation!

Kimberly found my services online, however, we actually met over 10 years ago. For a year, we attended the same high school (Charleston School of the Arts). And she will actually be my second bride I met from that school utilizing Magnolia Plantation for their wedding day! So interesting how things play out sometimes; it is really nice reconnecting with people from your childhood. Especially since Charleston has changed and grown so much, in a way, it brings you back to the good ole days :)

Originally, Kimberly was going to wear a white cocktail dress, but last minute changed her wardrobe to this red polka dot wrap dress. And I have to say, this dress was not only beautiful, but was also absolutely striking against the luscious greenery at Magnolia Plantation.

Kimberly also got her trial wedding up-do/hair done earlier that afternoon and it completed the look! I highly recommend getting either your hair and/or make up professionally done the day you get your engagement portraits made. These portraits will be lasting you a lifetime, so taking 1-2 hour(s) of your day to prepare for your shoot is TOTALLY worth it <3 And I mean, I am giving you an excuse to pamper yourself, so you should totally take advantage of it!

I think these two honestly make the cutest pair! They look SO good together and you could feel the genuine love they have for each other.

I am really looking forward to being a part of their big day in about two months! We are going to have so much fun!
